The six-game MLB DFS Thursday slate will be widely overlooked due to the Thursday Night Football matchup that opens the NFL season tonight (NFL DFS Projections – FREE). A low attendance day for MLB DFS leads to opportunities for sharp gamers, but contests are extremely limited with the sites focusing guaranteed prize pool money toward big football contests instead. The slate takes an interesting shape with a few highly obvious spots for power and run creation, primarily the Atlanta Braves against zombie Adam Wainwright, but overall there is a bit of a cap on both home run potential and runs in the model tonight, given the fairly talented pitching pool.
