MLB DFS: Power Index – 6/25/23 – DraftKings & FanDuel Main Slates

A stupid decision by FanDuel has a 12:10 ET start for the 10-game slate on the blue site with a typical 1:35 ET start for the remaining afternoon games on DraftKings. The split slate has us in hurry-up mode this morning, we are going to have the Power Index, Home Run Picks, and Stack Suggestions, and a live rundown show at 10:15 ET. The slate is a good one, there are several premium arms with teams swinging around to the top of their rotations, a broad mid-range of pitching, and several amazing spots for power and run creation, including another fun one in Cincinnati that has the Braves back on top of both the power board and fantasy point projections.

Main Slate Power Index – 6/25/23

The power index represents a team’s opportunity for home run upside in the matchup against the scheduled starting pitcher. This is not a direct guideline for stacking, but it can be utilized to determine the most likely sources of power-based contact, hitters who are not homering are frequently hitting doubles and driving in runs, and providing valuable MLB DFS scoring. The “Full” column averages our home run opportunity score for each player in the lineup from 1-9, while the “Top 6” column averages only hitters 1-6, where teams typically place their most significant bats.
