MLB DFS: Power Index – 6/12/23 – DraftKings & FanDuel Main Slates

After what feels like several days of massive slates, the seven-game MLB DFS action on Monday seems downright light by comparison. There are more quality options at the plate than on the mound for DraftKings and FanDuel gamers. Still, there is enough quality available on both sides to create a dynamic player pool from which several combinations seem like they have the potential to create a winning lineup. With the Red Sox setting targets on Connor Seabold in Fenway Park and the Phillies eyeing up Tommy Henry in their evening game in the desert, we probably know who the two most popular offenses will be on this slate. Both teams are in play and there are numerous ways to combine them with secondary stacks like the Rays, Angels, Rangers, or Angels, let alone the lower-end options on the board. Tonight seems like a good slate to stretch out possibilities to cover multiple likely outcomes with quality stack combinations.

Main Slate Power Index – 6/12/23

The power index represents a team’s opportunity for home run upside in the matchup against the scheduled starting pitcher. This is not a direct guideline for stacking, but it can be utilized to determine the most likely sources of power-based contact, hitters who are not homering are frequently hitting doubles and driving in runs, and providing valuable MLB DFS scoring. The “Full” column averages our home run opportunity score for each player in the lineup from 1-9, while the “Top 6” column averages only hitters 1-6, where teams typically place their most significant bats.
